Death threats to festival director

Death threats to festival director, and Landmark Cinemas pulling out over film selections, puts the entire 2012 Okanagan International Film Festival in jeopardy.

With less than a week before the film festival was scheduled to take place there is no longer a home but Jeremy Heynen is working hard to find a suitable replacement venue. Jeremy has vowed to screen Donkey Love, and all films selected to OFF Internationl 2012, citing he does not negotiate with terrorists with respect to the threats. Here’s the news article: http://www.castanet.net/news/Kelowna/81457/Death-threats-doom-Donkey-debut

Debate and discussion is welcomed but people are encouraged to use Twitter/Facebook to voice their opinions as emails to Jeremy are merely skimmed by him and he doesn’t have time to address them all.
